Casting Solution
Tip: when you are fishing with a snag proof frog, particularly the older models, the weight may slip out of it or the lure may simply be too light to cast. When this happens I take a few split shot weights and pinch them down on the upper part of the hook as far up on the body as you can go

Fishing Type: Spinning/Baitcasting

Weightless Lizard Fishing
Tip: The thing I like to do when fishing for largemouth is to hook two hooks on to my swivel and put two lizards on the hooks and fish it weightless. I like to let it sink and let it lay there for a couple of seconds then just move it on.

Spawning Tip
Tip: Try using a suspended crankbait over the bed. The lure will begin to sink nice at first, as if it were trying to feed on eggs. This will really get the female's attention.

Baitin For The Biguns'
Tip: For some good old fashion non stop action especially for Catfish, heres what you do. Get several cans of tuna fish in oil, along with several cans of dog food preferably beef and lamb, 2 lbs limburger cheese, mix it all together in a small bucket that has had several holes knocked in it (make the holes just large enough for the mixture to ooze out). Let the mixture sit out in sun with lid on it for a day or two, then a day or two before your ready to fish take your magic mixture and sink it in a likely looking spot, preferably upstream from where you plan to fish. Then simply fish with your bait of choice. Mine is fresh shad or fresh cut bait (bream, carp, skipjack, etc.) Try it once and every time you wanna catch fish you'll do it. Make It Easy!
Tip: For those of us that enjoy farm pond fishing, here's a tip for you. Instead of dragging that tackle box all over the place, get a nail pouch from your local hardware store or lumber yard, strap it in place, add your favorite lures, hooks, pliers or whatever you desire and make your trip around the pond so much easier and hassel free......you'll love it, trust me!

Fishing Type: Spinning/Baitcasting

Slow Roll A Spinner Bait
Tip: When the water is cold and the fish are quiet, slow roll a rooster tail to stir up some action. The fish are lazy so the movement is just enough to gain their attention and spark their interest. It works for me!
Water Type: Freshwater Types of Fish: Largemouth Bass
Fishing Type: Spinning/Baitcasting

Crappie Coldfront
Tip: Hey crappie anglers. Take a fly rod and rig a worm bobber and hook. Boat over to a fallen tree and use the length of the rod to just drop it into the roots under water. This works best after a cold front has moved through. When it is warm rig a jig and cast into the roots of the tree and jig in. You'll be guaranteed a bite. Good Luck

Fishing Type: Spinning/Baitcasting

Using A Small Crankbait Differently!!??!!
Tip: The crankbait I was using was a rapala F-5 and I wasn't just reeling it through the water like most people would normally do. I was letting it float and as soon as it resurfaced I would just lightly tug on the line making it dive just ever so slightly and letting it resurface again. I repeated this step until i got it about 3 feet from shore and swim it the rest of the way in. I had very good luck with this. I caught 5 fish in less than 1 hour.

Getting The Most Out Of Your Buzzbaits
Tip: To get more action out of your buzzbait drill little holes into the buzz to cause more bubbles on top of the water. Also try putting a little plastic twister tail on your hook to make it more appealing. Both of these have really helped me out, I hope it works for you.
Water Type: Freshwater Types of Fish: Largemouth Bass
Fishing Type: Spinning/Baitcasting

Running A Spinner A Little Different.
Tip: As soon as your spinner hits the water let it sink to your desired depth in the same spot giving it a helicopter effect. Plus if the fish are really inactive and you think the fish will bite a spinner stop every little bit and let it sink again to make it deeper.
