5 1/2 ft ugly stick with a quantum reel and 12 pound test and a buzz bait and Rapala silver shallow runner

Report:
You know the saying take someone fishing? Well that's what I have been doing. I took my girlfriend fishing to a new pond I have never been to before and boy did we have fun. She caught a nice 2 pound bass and was really excited. These fish were acting really weird though. There was catfish swimming around every where and the bass were acting like they were spawning. I caught a huge pregnant bluegill that was ready to pop. It had to been at least a pound in a half. I also caught a 6 1/2 pound catfish on the old reliable nightcrawlers. All in all it was a great day to take someone fishing.
