Report:
To even get a bite tonight was awesome. This is the most inactive I have seen the fish all year long. I tried everything tonight from my always lucky weedless mouse, worms, lizards, poppers, buzzbait, spinnerbaits, roster tails, and shallow runner. I only had two small bites on my purple bass stopper worm. I tried to run all the lures fast hoping to upset the fish and slow to hopefully to get the real lazy fish that were hungry to just try it out but nothing worked. I would say that the heat beating down on this pond all day long was a big factor in their being so inactive.
