Number of Fish Caught: 2

Tackle Used:
axiom baitcast spooled with spiderwire stealth 50 pound with 12 pound diameter on a shakespear excursion rod.
white weedless moss mouse, orange & brown buzzbait, shallow runner, purple bass stopper worm, and gulp 6 inch black worm.

Report:
This medium sized pond has always produced fish for me including my 9 3/4 pounder. I started with my weedless white moss mouse and it produced many lite bits with no fish caught. And then I went out on the boat and I was slowly reeling the mouse across the moss and I had my first fish of the night. 10 casts or so I caught my second bass and was thinking it was going to be a good night. I kept getting hits and I could never get the hook set fast enough because none of the bites were very hard. I thought maybe I would try gulp black worm and sit it under the moss and let the fish do the job. This produced nothing and my shallow runner, buzzbait, and purple worm had the same result with nothing. The fish were inactive I believe because this is the most humid day yet this year warming the water up faster.
