Tackle Used:
shimano reels on allstar rods spooled with 15lb P-line and 17lb cajun line
booyah buuzzbait in chartreuse and white
6" electric grape worm.
Report:
Went to the river this morning, arrived just before daylight, started out the morning fishing my go to summertime bait, the ol' buzzard in chartreuse and white, and the bass just couldn't get enough of it.
I caught 5 on it and lost at least that many more all before 10:00 am, as the sun begin to come out they slowed a little on the buzz bait so i just went along all the flooded timber with an electric grape 6" worm and caught 2 more. All the fish were about 2 lbs a piece. Worst part of the whole trip though was the fact that i went off and left my digital camera at home on charge, which was a real bummer, my camera has become as much a part of my fishing trips as my tackle box, if you don't have one you should really get one they are great for the outdoorsmen. So, needless to say, I didn't get the first picture. But I'll make sure its in the boat for tomorrow, in fact I'm gonna put it in there as soon as I'm done with this report.
