Zebco 33 platinum, watermelon 6" lizard, motor oil worm, Rapala shallow runner

Report:
The fish were biting hard right off the bat on soft plastic baits like worms and lizards. They were biting on the drop and also after the first movement after we dropped to the bottom. The biggest fish caught was a 16 inch largemouth and the rest varied between 11 and 13 inches. There was a lot of grass on the edges but as long as we casted right at the edge of the grass we were getting bites.
