Report:
After work we pre-fished Upper and Lower Goose Ponds. The weather was cold, thought there was not a lot of wind. The only fish boated was a pickerel from the smaller of 2 ponds. We fished structure and got zero bites. We fished deep and and no luck. Water is very clear. Visibility must be at least 15 feet. Saw 4 smallies - none on beds. Cruising and could not be enticed to bite even finesse worms. There was one small largemouth cruising through canal. No weeds seen in either lake. Boat ramp needs work. You must back out until front wheels are in the water! We saw trout fisherman. Trout were seen on the surface feeding between 5 PM and 9 PM.
