Trip Date: May 10, 2005
Location Information:
Spot: Lake Aquabi
Country: United States of America
State: Iowa
|
Number of Anglers: 20
Water Clarity: Slightly Murky
Weather Conditions: Sunny
Number of Fish Caught: 5
Water Temp: N/A
Air Temp: 80
|
Tackle Used:
I used a bobber and worm, and also some spinners with crawler harnesses. The spinners worked well for the bass, while as usual the bobber and worm helped a lot for the giant bluegill. From talking to others they used minnows also.
Report:
There are a ton of fish in Lake Aquabi right now, some are hitting and some are not. If you want to catch fish here, you'll probably need a boat to get to areas that can't be fished on foot. However, there are big bass and big crappie, and always a nice selection of bluegill.
