Tackle Used:
Used a Super Spook for the Reds and Trout. The Sheephead were hitting anything and I do mean anything. I used squid but others were using mullet, dead shrimp and even sand fleas, yes sand fleas. My Spanish Mack hit a live squid on a popping cork. People were also using artificial shrimp for Spanish as well.
Report:
It's the weekend so you know I hit the Jetties again. The water was awesome and super clear, Typical Gulf Coast. No sign of Pompano but there were plenty of Sheephead, Reds, Trout and a Blue, but not caught by me. Even a few Spanish Mackerel were in coolers. I brought home 2 slot reds, a 4.5 pound trout and a nice Spanish Mack. The Sheephead were small so they went back.
