Report:
A chilly morning led to a warm spring day. Casting off the bank into the deepest part of the pond. It took a while for the pond to heat up and once it did ..about 10am, the bass were hitting. 1-3lb largemouths with about 2-3 every 1/2 hr. The bass were hitting on a variety of different lures but interestingly enough no spinner baits like they were the week before. The lilly pads had not yet become a problem so weedless lures not needed. Less hits after 1pm. Overall a good day with several hard hits and action.
