Report:
After having no luck in our first pond we decided to try a little farm pond that only a few folks know. The early going was rough. Top water bait was not working and there were almost too many weeds to try any thing else. After going through our tackle boxes we realized that a Rapala Baby Bass and Shallow Runner was the only way to go. The lures delivered almost immediate results. The Baby Bass proved to be the best choice, bringing in 2 Blue Gill and a few small bass. The other lures had little action, but still managed to bring in small bass.
