Abu-Garcia 4600 baitcaster, fifteen lb p-line. Sixfoot heavy to medium pole. Black 4inch tube. Quarter once slip sinker. #1 weedless hook

Report:
Fished Potter lake in the Washington-Jackson state forest. Looked to me the eggs have been laid. Found some on the lure. Got some males to bite. Pretty beat up. Largest was four pounds. Females not movin off the nest.
