Yellow Jigs & live minnows on light tackle on 8lb test line

Report:
BOY!! My wife almost skunked me!! We went out on the pier & fished about 1 hour we didn't get a bite. We left there & went down to the railroad tracks which was about 5 miles from the house. There were several others already there so we joined them. We fish about 3 hours & caught 11 Crappie & 2 small Catfish. Of the 13 we caught my wife caught 9. The crappies (5) went about 2lbs. We gave the fish away. Note: the river is about three (3) feet from being at full pool. May 8 is scheduled date for full pool.
