Report:
Fish are starting to bite on the Illinois river. I caught two striped bass one 2 pounds and one 1 1/4 pounds. I camped in Marseilles, and the fish are biting during the night mostly. I caught one of my stripers in Ottawa and one in Marseilles. People were mostly catching stripers and I saw a channel catfish or two around 8:30 pm.
