Report:
After a long day of working on a friend's computer I managed to make it over to the farm pond. The storm was moving in, but it was pretty nice where I was at. No wind, hardly any clouds, and at first, no bites. I watched the storm clouds move closer, and as the barometric pressure rose, the bite turned on. I landed 4 bass, all around a pound. Then the wind came, a wall of it. It went from no wind to 40MPH winds instantly. I looked up and those clouds that were off in the distance were now looming right above me, and the lightning was striking just a few miles to the west of me. I figured it wasn't the best time to be standing out in the middle of an open field holding a metal rod in my hands, so I hi-taled it (litterally) back to the house. That storm moved in faster than anythying I've ever seen (Southern California weather doesn't change like that!) What an experience.
