Shimano 2000FE, Fenwick HMX 6'6" MH, Spiderwire 6lb. Mono, Sqworm Tackle Sqworm Sticks. (Crawdad w/ Sqworm crawdad flavored BASSWAX scent.) Strike King Bitsy Spin (white, Sqworm Basswas scent.)
Report:
Another great day. Windy again, but no rain and thunderstorms like have been predicted. I had another show in Louisville, and since I was close, ran out to Shelbyville. Quite a bit of pressure, but mostly bobbers for gills and crappie. Talked to a Park worker who said someone had caught a 9lber last week in the upper end of the lake. Nothing I caught was close to that, but about 4 were keepers and the rest were from little to tiny. But fun none the less. I did catch all 4 larger ones on Sqworm Sticks (crawdad) and missed a handful more. I caught all the small ones on a Strike King Bitsy Spin, white.
