Nutha little crappie

Shimano 2000FE, Fenwick HMX 6'6" MH, Spiderwire 8lb Mono, 1/8oz. Johnson Beetle spin with white/chartreuse grub.
Report:
Got warm and windy. By the time Alan and I met at our secret Crappie hole the water was kicked up pretty good. It was dingy to muddy. I started off throwing Johnson Beetle Spins with a White Beetle Trailer. Alan was throwing some variation of the same. It's a good bait in the small pond we met at because of all the crappie. And you can normally pick up a bass or two also. Which we did. Alan caught 2 bass, small ones, and 4 crappies. I caught 2 bass, 1 would have been a keeper, and 2 crappie. Alan gained ground in the head to head contest he and I have going, but we both had a good time. No pictures of Alan, he was on the other side of the lake, and it's my Camera Phone!
