Posted By: WarEagle
Trip Date: March 14, 2005
Location Information:
Spot: Lake Alma
Country: United States of America
State: Ohio
Number of Anglers: 1
Water Clarity: Slightly Murky
Weather Conditions: Sunny
Number of Fish Caught: 0
Water Temp: 42
Air Temp: 48

Tackle Used:
Shimano 2000FE., Bionic Blade BPS 6' MH, 6lb. Spiderwire Mono EZ. 2.5" Rat L Trap, Bass color, 4" Strike King Tube, Black/blue, and camoflage, and 3/8oz. spinner Chartreuse/Green/black/red

Report:
A perfect day if you don't mind mid 40 temps. I didn't have to wear gloves or anything. My travels took me to Southeastern Ohio so I stopped at Alma. It was a favorite spot growing up, but I have not fished there in years. And catching bluegills in the swimming area with breadcrumbs in a plastic bag is not of the techniques I employ much anymore. Used to slay them like that back in the 80's however. No luck today. Chucking my new favorite weapon, my Shimano. I threw the usual, Rat L Trap, Tube, and slow rolled a Spinner through some dormant lilly pads. Would have bet on a strike through there somewhere. Would have lost.
