Report:
As usual when I can't get bit at Stone Arch, I head for Sugar. You have drive across Sugar to get out of Stone Arch so why not. The 6' BPS rod that I had been doubting proved its self when I got to the creek. The length was perfect for getting into the tight quarters I find myself in on the bank. The Shimano Reel is so smooth that even with a light lure, a small flick and it sails the distance effortlessly. I was surprised by the clarity of Sugar. It was crystal clear with an appropriate Green tint for this St. Patricks Day week. The DNR guy that checked me for a license even mentioned how clear the water was. The cold front that has yet to leave central Indiana has made the fishing tough. But the new Rod/Reel that I won here at largemouthbass.com made it somewhat bearable. Thanks again TP.
