6'6" MH, Spinning reel, 8lb. Berkley Vanish, Johnson Beetle spins, 1/4 oz. jig w/ craw trailer.
Report:
The main lake was still frozen over, with a small thawed spot along the far right side. Very muddy with all the runoff. I fished the tailwaters below the damn. There were 3 other guys there, which gave me hope. I slow rolled small spinners for a while, then switched to a small jig and craw rig. I never caught anything, anf I didn't notice the other guys catching any either. To be honest I never really fished Burr Oak growing up, and haven't had much luck there in recent years. But I hear good things about it.
