The past summer when I was fishing at Burden Lake, I asked my dad if I could use his Rapala lure. He said I could so I tied it on. I cast it out and started doing my normal retrieve. A couple cast later I felt a tug. I thought that I was just stuck on some heavy, thick weeds. No fight what-so-ever! Just like a big anchor! Then it started to get to the water where I could see it. It was a Pickeral. I pulled it up on the dock but started to flop around and it bit the line! It flopped around the dock for a couple of seconds then jumped into the water. I got a pretty good look at it though. I estimate it was about 20" and about 6 to 7 pounds. And from now on I use a leader when fishing no matter what I'm fishing, where I'm fishing, how I'm fishing, when I'm fishing, and what I'm fishing for!
