After a whole day of slow fishing one fish and one bite it was time to pack up. The gate closes at seven, it was 6:45 on Saturday 8/03/2003, so it was time for the last cast. Using a yellow spinner bait I got a small bite follwed by a hard solid pull. I thought I had hooked a barble because the fish was fighting like crazy; under my ski, back to the cliff, around the ski, deep, up, down. Then, suddenly, it burst out of the water, mouth wide open, about a meter away from me. I got such a fright when I saw the size of the fish, and realized it was a largemouth bass. It was panic! The fish was huge, biggest I've ever seen personally. I managed to land the fish and it weighed 4.9 kg!
