Found a Floater

The advantage of using floating lures.
during our fishin' trip to Virginia this past June, my brother started havin' luck catchin' fish on rainbow colored lures. he was cathcin' about double what we was catchin' in the side cricks off the new river. one mornin', about halfway through the trip, he lost his lure in a smallmouths grip(about 5 or 6 inches, haha) at about 8 am. he was mad because it was either his last one or close to it. i remember thinkin' that we may get lucky and find it because it was a floater and that bass had jumped a couple of times to try to spit it. we didn't see anything in the next few minutes, so we forgot about it and moved downstream. we fished for another 3 or 4 hours, then decided it was time to move on. on our way back, we was walkin' the crick bank and i happened to see somethin' bright green floatin' down our way. i waded out and picked it up and tossed his lure back to him. we couldn't believe it, we was about a miles worth of crick away from where he lost it, and it hadn't caught any snags all the way down!
.....then i think he lost it for good either later that day or the very next day....
