Me, dad, and his friend Scotty were fishin' on our new bayliner and wasn't having much luck, so we went in this little hollow with a bunch of trees coming from the lake. Well I cast my minnow and let it drift. After a while I started reeling in but my pole bent and my line wouldn't come in. I thought I was hung up but then Scotty said, "you got him buddy," and sure enough I seen a bass about one foot under water. Well I started reelin' and tuggin' and after about 2 minutes I had in my first bass and first fish on a minnow. It was 14 inches long and 1 1/2 pounds.
