One Big Frog

I'll never forget.
Well I don't know if this story will catch the interest of to many people, unless they have done what I do. I love catching Bullfrogs with my rod and reel. I use a plastic weedless floating frog to catch them. I think it is a lot more fun than gigging for them, because you do it in plain day. They can really fight too, I usually have to replace my reel every two years because they strip the gears. Anyhow one day I was out catching these frogs and I saw probably one of the biggest ones I ever saw before. It was just sitting there on the bank away from the water, I tossed my lure down to it successfully because it immediately went for it. With my lure all the way in it's mouth I go to set the hook and my line snapped right at the lure, I was using 10lb line and I know how to tie my lures on pretty good, so you could only imagine how big this thing was. That's not all though, after I set the hook and it snapped my line that darn thing just sat there mocking me I didn't even spook it or anything. I'll never forget that as long as I live.
