Labour Day weekend trip.
Arrived back in heaven on Friday morning. Weather was sunny but the wind was blowing a gale. Needless to say no fishing on the first day. This trip was the guy's only and my oldest son got to come and be part of the boy's. He was really excited to go. He was the rookie and now that's his nickname till he catches a big one worthy of changing it. Second day was better, still a little windy but we got out. Fish were few and far between. Water level had dropped 3 or 4 feet. We blamed the weather and fishing on Katrina. Other than that we had a great time. Fished Sunday morning with very little luck and packed up at noon. Said goodbye to heaven for another year as this will be our last trip of the season. Glad to say I had a very good year fishing in heaven and look forward to spring so we can all start again. Fishing is no fun without buddy's and I got the 6 best in the world. That means you son you made the cut. Tight-lines and take a kid fishing. Hope you like the farewell pics of heaven!!!
