A few weeks past I planned to take the woman I have been dating on a fishing trip. She has been asking to go with me sometime and had never fished with artificial lures of any kind, and i agreed to teach her how it was done. She brought her own fishin’ rod that appeared to have factory line that was years old. After spending several minutes peeling away line that was brittle we were ready to begin. I set her up with a Storm SubWart "one of my favorites" and told her to just cast it and reel it back in. After several casts she looked at me and said "This just ain’t workin’ right and I haven’t seen any fish even look at this thing." I said "Here let me see it." One short cast and a little twitch later baaam I had a small largemouth. She looked at me and said "ok gimmie back my rod, you caught my fish". Needless to say we caught several more that day and I do believe she is now "hooked" on bass fishing.
