26-0 but Where's the fish?

It looked like we lost the mini tourney but you never know until it is over.
At the end of May my buddy Shannon and Joe and a friend of Joe's, Bryan, went to Waurika Lake to catch Hybrid Bass. It was a perfect night the moon was full and we started catching HY-Bass almost at the first cast. We had 2 people in each boat so we decided to make it interesting we would see who could catch the most before we went in. This is not a sanctioned event but the fish were biting and it sounded fun. Shannon and I were in one boat and Bryan and Joe were in the other. We fished for around 3 hours and caught Hybrids every 5 minutes or so. When we went up to the docks we had counted 20 fish in our livewell and we got the scales out to weight them. Joe and Bryan said that they kicked our butts with 26 hybrids. Bryan's boat did not have a livewell so they where putting all of the Hybrid on a stringer and had tied it to the back of the boat. They were arguing when we pulled our boat up next to there's because the stringer had come loose and they could not find the fish. We went back to the dam area and cruised around looking for the stringer of bass but we never saw anything. They may have had 26 fish but they lost big time, 20-0. We hope someone found the stringer and kept them or released them. Every time that we run into Joe he gets a lot of heat about the 26 that got away!
