My friend and I were up at my friends cabin and we were just casting off his dock. Suddenly I had a huge hit and so I tried to get the fish. It jumped and we saw that it was a bass. It got off my line and swam off. The next day we saw the same bass under his neighbors pontoon and so we cased a couple of times under there but had no luck. We gave up on catching him, and just started to cast to catch whatever bit. My friend was using a popper and the bass took it under. My friend set the hook better than I did when he bit mine, and reeled in the bass. It was the biggest bass I have ever seen. It weighed 10 pounds! It was a great weekend of fishing.
