Hooked in the head.
My brother and me was on a road trip in South Carolina the first week of January. We found a place to wet our lines and started fishin with our Rapalas. We had only fished round about 25 minutes when I got hung on a bush. I started tuggin on the line and when it broke loose, it came straight back at me and I lowered my head. The treble hooks on the back end of the lure stuck right near the crown of my head. I buried 2 barbs and knew I couldn't get em out myself, so I hollered at my brother. He came down, thinkin' I had a fish, but saw me standin' there with the Rapala stickin out of my head. So, we took a picture (which I'll post soon) and then tried to decide how to go about gettin it out.
I couldn't see nothin so I told my brother to get it out with a pen knife. We tried 3 different knives, but none was sharp enough at the tip. We finally found one that was sharp enough. My brother quit cuttin' when I'd wince, so I had to dig my hands into the ground and shut my mouth so my brother would dig it out. It took us a half hour to get it out, so we ended up doin' that longer then we got to fish. Luckily, there are no hospital bills to deal with and no scars as far as I can tell.
