Hi, I’m 15 years old and I love bass fishing. One Saturday morning, I went fishing like I usually do, but that day I felt like going fishing with another friend. I called this good friend of mine to go and he said ok.
When we got there we tried fishing with bread and got some good sunfish. Then we switched to spinnerbaits and started casting and casting. After about 15 minutes my friend said to me, "I might as well try fishing on the murky side with the weeds n' stuff," and I was said "Go ahead and do whatever you want, but I wouldn't." He went anyways and started screaming all exited so I went over to see what was going on. His line was pulling behing some weeds and I said "Dude!!! What the heck? You only got your line stuck!!!" He said, "Oh yeah, well then how do you explain that big head coming up with my spinnerbait???" He pulled out a huge 7 pound bass!!! I started fishing on that same spot and got nothing. When we were leaving, I threw this piece of bread I had left into that spot. As I was walking away and watching it, this huge bass jumped up and grabbed it! I really thought it was about 10 pounds or so and about 38 inches long!
That day I went home pleased because I had caught some fish even though I didn’t get that big bass. Better luck next time.
