My Sons first fish. (Add to Favorites)

My sons first fish, My brother forgets the camera.

My Son turned 3yrs in March, He hasn't seen his Uncle Shawn (my baby brother) since he was about 7months old. I finally got to take my family (wife, two step-daughters and my son) back to upstate NY for the first time. Just before we hit the road for the long trip back to Ft. Campbell, KY my brother and I, along with our brother Don took ALL the kids fishing. First I have to tell you my baby brother is the type of guy that would pull the car over at a flooded pot hole to drop a line and catch something. He said we will go (done the road) turned out to be 12 miles. We went to a farm pond with myself, my 2 brothers, my 3 kids and my baby brothers 2 kids. It was a typical three stooges episode, my brothers and I trying to throw a line and also taking care if 3 lines belonging to 5 kids, I was in heaven. My brothers and I don't get together much and for us to be taking our kids fishing was just too much. My mother gave my brother her camera to get the kids first fish on film. Well I tell you if my brother hadn't forgotten the camera in the car we sure as *heck* would of had time to take any pictures. My boy JJ or John Jr. caught his first fish and got so excited that I thought he fell in. I now know a little bit more about my dad that he didn't have to share with me. Oh, yeah it was just a little pumpkin-seed but my son yanked on that pole like it was fighting him like a spring muskie. Thanks for letting me share.
