Fishing Stories
Dumb on my part (Add to Favorites)

We weren't thinking and as a result we hurt our fish.

One day we were fishing out at AEP and we were crossing over a little beaver dam and we had 3 largemouth bass on our stringer. We were so worried about catching more fish that we forgot about the fish on the stringer and it ripped 3 of their jaws open and they were laying in the mud of the dam. I grabbed them and put them back on the stringer but felt horrible about it. I am the kind of person that loves fishing and I realize that to be a good fishermen you have to have respect for your surroundings and the fish. Lets just say I will never make that mistake again. I wrote this story as a reminder to anybody who fishes on a boat to remember the fish and don't do something stupid like we did.
