I was sittin' around one day, and my uncle chuck calls me up and ask me if I want to go fishin', I say, sure why not....because I love to fish...we decide to go and fish in a small rock quarry that has been stocked over the years...we were pulling in some decent sized walleye and largemouth bass...it came dawn and I decided to rig up a Texas rig with a chartreuse powerbait....I threw in next to a large rock and started to jig....all of the sudden...bam...there it was and it was a powerful hit....I was using a cheap pole....a Zebco....so it was bending pretty bad....so I let some line out and wore the big boy out....I pulled it in and it was a 5 1/2 pound 23' inch largemouth male bass...little did I know 5 min later I pulled in another and it was 5 3/4 pound female largemouth bass in almost the exact same spot...talk about a night to remember!!!
