The day we caught huge yellow catfish.

On day a friend and I werefishing at a farmers pond and the bass were slamming everything. It was about 10:00 in the morning and my friend decided to throw out some chicken liver on his spare rod. His rod set there for about an hour and all of a sudden something hit it. I mean it hit it hard! He set the hook and realed in a 5 pound yellow catfish. This interested me and we stopped bass fishing and started to just catfish. Well for about half an hour we couldn't real in these big catfish in fast enough. We ended up catching 5 of the yellow catfish and kept them and put them in a pond closer to home. That day we had to have caught 35 pounds of fish. It will go down in my book as the best fishing day of my life.
