I was doin' some spring cleaning in my back yard, rakin' leaves, pullin' sticks out of the water, ext. When I saw a 10 inch bass, floating on its side on my shoreline. I was sad...(not really, but I felt bad) it was real pail, but I could still see its gills movin'. I picked it up, and for so dumb reason I looked in its mouth, and saw a huge rusty nail. I got my players and took it out, put the bass back in the water...hoping it would swim away, which deep down I knew it wouldn't, which it didn't. Any ways heres the cool part, I took it inside, took my sisters 6 gold fish out of her 20 gallon tank, and put the little 10 inch bass in there. I played with it a while, moving it back and forth in the water, about to just go put it back outside when I felt it flip, so it gave me hope, I did that for over 15 minutes until it would finally flip out of my hands, and stay at the bottom for a few seconds until it would float back up. I messed around, shown my dad, he didn't really care but I was proud, I thought it was time to put it back in the lake, so I did, playin' with it some more, in the water, it would flip away and float back up, over and over, until one time it sat at the bottom for over 10 minutes, in the same spot, breathin' all on its own and everything, so I went back doin' so cleaning, checkin' up on it evry few minutes, I wondered why it was just sitting there so I got a stick a poked at it, it swam slowly away!! I think that that was so awesome! By the way, I wrote a report on that in school and my class loved it!! Well, good bye..
