It was last Saturday night around 8:40pm. I was fishing from the boat landing, and all I could see and hear was were flipping and jumping in the lake. It was very calm that night. I was using some old wax worms on a leader, when I started to reel my line in and finish for the night, I got a hit about 20 yards out. I soon had something big on my line, as I reeled in closer, I had caught a nice 2½ lb largemouth bass. I was a nice feeling to catch a large mouth bass that size after catching so many smaller bass.
