I took my five year old grandson to a pond on the ranch I retired from . Got the kid rigged up to catch bream and while he was watchin’ his bobber I put on a white floating worm and cast it down the bank . I twitched the worm down a weed line and suddenly the pond exploded under my bait. I set the hook hard and found to my dismay I was hooked solid to the resident GATOR. I tried to break it off but that Spider Wire was too tuff. I played that big dumb lizard for twenty minutes before I got it close enough to cut the line close to his head. I'm cheap and I just bought that line. The gator splashin’ around woke the bream up and we caught a nice mess for supper.
