Northern caught on someone elses bobber that the line was broken.
My friend and I were out fishing in a little paddle boat and I caught 3 northerns and 1 largemouth. I was happy for the day and he caught 2 northerns and 2 largemouth and then we were paddling back when out of the corner of my eye I see this bobber moving out in the middle of the lake and no one's pole was on it . So we coasted close enough to get it and I cast and it just brushed up against it. I couldn't hook it and then my friend cast with a trailer hook on the end of his bait and he got the bobber. He said, "Oh, it's nothing" and just then his pole bent way far down. The fish swam around the paddle boat a bunch of times. Then we finally wrestled it out of the water and it turned out to be a 28 inch northern. It was crazy.
