Some real redneck fishin' (Add to Favorites)

Things are a little different in Tennessee!

While on a houseboat trip at Dale Hollow Tennessee, we tied the boats off to shore, we chose a new fishing location every day at noon. I wondered off of the boat and took my rods to go into a remote cove to do some shore fishing. After fishing for about an hour, I could hear an engine running in the distance. Louder and louder until I see a beat up old 70's International Scout come out of nowhere with all of the fenders flapping. When the truck stops, out climbs one of the scariest people that I have ever seen! Filthy overalls, a torn up flannel shirt, and a Doberman by his side! This mountain of a man walks over to me and says "how long ya'll been here"? At this point, I have no idea how this guy even got here, there are no signs of a road or civilization to be found. He then says "were ya'll here last night"? When I finally convinced him that we were only there for an hour, he says "someone was fishin' down here with dynamite last night"! He still looks mad, but he leaves and drives back to where ever he came from. Later, I wandered further up into the cove where the stream enters it, I notice mud all over the shore. After a closer look, THERE WERE FISH IN THE TREES! That good ol boy wasn't kidding! Somewhere there had to be a banjo playing!!! (LOL)

BTW, no offense intended, I love southerners..even though my x brother-in-law used to tell me that he dosen't like yanks! LOL
