Trouble with the Treble (Add to Favorites)

My brother and I went fishing and he got a hook stuck in his nipple.

It was a beautiful summer day and the sun was just starting to rise. It had just lightly rained the night before and my brother and I could not wait to go fishing again. We go fishing at a local creek in Brownsburg, Indiana. That day we caught a little more than we bargained for. My brother and I rode are bikes to the creek like we did almost every summers morning with poles in one hand and tackle in the other. We arrived at the creek and within five minutes our poles were in the water. After about an hour of me catching fish, my brother Donny began to get frustrated. He decided to use a proven lure in this creek, a Black and Red Crawdad Crankbait with two treble hooks. Well after a few casts with no strikes he began to get frustrated again. The next cast he winged and it went across the small creek and into the trees. Only making him more mad, he started pulling at the snag like it was a recored catfish. Needless to say he got it out, but he could not find it. Every where he looked he could hear it but not find it. I went over to him to help him look for it (normally I wouldn't but this was my lure). I was shocked to find the the lure. Well I should say it was a hot day and we had our shirts off to cool us down. However, Donny probably should have left his on. Because now he had a crwdad dangling from his right nipple from a treble hook. He looked down at it dumbfounded (doctor said the quick impalement left his body in shock so he could not feel it). We biked home and showed our father. Almost like it's happened to him before he got a pair of pliers, cut the hook from the lure and drove us to the local hospital to have it removed. Now, two years later Donny still has the scar and a story of how he caught the biggest fish at that creek.
