Long Time, No Catch

I fished for a long time and never caught anything.
When I first started fishing, I would fish my brains out and never even get a single bite. For months that went on. And it was to the point that if I didn't get a fish on this camping trip I was going on with my grandpa I was going to QUIT! Right when we had started fishing, my grandpa saw the problem. We were suing a Senkos, and he said "You’re fishing to fast, the fish don’t want to have to work that hard for a worm." So he showed me exactly what to do to get the fish to bite and, you guessed, it within the next five minutes, I had a little largemouth bass. I was so happy. But it just goes to show you fishing isn’t for everybody and it takes lots of time and patience. I owe a lot of my fishing know how to my grandpa, he showed me just about everything I know up to this day about fishing.
