Some stories!!!
When I was little, about 6, I was a big fisherman. I caught bluegill all the time. One day we went to a lake, and I had my lil worm and bobber when a huge bass grabbed it. My lil kiddie pole snapped, I had my temper, and never fished again. Now 13, 14 in a month, I was at my friends at house. He had a nice pond with all sorts of fish. He lent me a pole and I cast in a few times to fish. My friend caught a 6 or 7 inch pike. Small fish, but I was still a lil jealous. Determined, I casted in and I caught a lil rock bass about 6 ounces. He was little but it was a great feeling to have again. I set my pole in the water and went to eat. When we got back my friend said, "Grab your pole and hook it." I pulled, but said "It's just a snag." I was reeling in when my friend said "You caught a turtle!" I pulled it up with his huge ocean pole and tried to unhook it. We gave up and cut it. I had a great time for my first time fishing again.
About 2 or 3 months later we were fishing in a big hidden pond. I was using a lil worm and hook and caught a vicious lil crappie. His dad was there so we had the equip. We measured 1lb. 3oz. I hooked up a bright green rooster tail and casted pretty far out. I reeled in and had a huge bass on the line and I got it in after a fight. It measured 5lb 6oz. I was happy. I put some smelly catfish bait on my new ocean pole and let it sit at the bottom. After about 15 minutes, my line darted. I reeled hard and pulled out 27lb 8oz cat! I was proud. I hooked again and set it at the bottom. I got another bite and pulled in a 10 pd carp. My friend hooked a huge alligator, about 40 to 50lb. He was bending the ocean pole like crazy! We got him to the shore, and on land. He wobbled like crazy! We laughed and studied it and then cut the line. I'm so glad I started fishing again.
I hope u enjoyed my stories.
