It all happened on August 5,2000 on a rainy day when me and my father weren't prepared for that type of weather, but we held in there. We were in a cove full with thousands of lily pads in it.An all we were catching was little bass and big, huge pickerale. We using soft, floating, rubber frogs, jerking them on top of the water. One big pickerale came up and bit my frog and cut my line and swam away with my rubber frog.Gone for good. While I was puting my white "Moss Boss" on my line my dad was fooling aroung with his reel putting greas on it and whiping the extra off after he casted his line, and a big bloup and his frog was gone.So he got a hold of the reel and pole and yaked on the line and hooked the fish. While he was reeling the fish in he was thinking that it was a small fish because of all the weeds on it.Then I told him it was a big old pickerale because of where the line enters the water, about a foot and a half behind it the fish tale was waving back and forth.Once my dad got the fish up to the surface of the water the fish opened its mouth wide open and me and him both said at the same time,"WHOLEY SHOOT!". The fish was unbleavable and he strained himself getting the fish up out of the water and into the boat.We weighed it and mesured it and the Largemouth Bass was 21 1/2 inches long and it weighed 6.3 lbs.WOW!And that happened to be the biggest bass I've ever seen with my own eyes. The End!
