8:00-I'm in the boat going to the beach, it's closed today because bad storms are coming this way. I want to fish a couple hours. When I arrived at the beach I checked for any people.
9:00- I've been fishing here for an hour now and only got a little bass barely legal, I throw him back. I have a live bait and a artifficial rigged with a real worm and a manns plastic worm. I have a bite on live bait and begian the weak battle. It was a nice bluegill,9 inches. I pick up my other rod and tighted the line, waited and the line moved right so I set the hook, that is when all hell broke loose, the once calm surface was now the roughest water in the lake. The fish went under the raft then under the boat, the fight lasted a good ten min. before he was tangled up on the beach sepperater rope.It was a huge largemouth, I'd say maybe 8lbs, I talked to one of the life gaurds and he said that fish has been here for 5 years and was a friend that visited often to the shallows.
