My friend Mark came over and woke me at 6:00am and told me he saw a nice spot to fish. I woke up and we walked down to the spot. I casted about three times with my crack bait. The next cast I hook a bass, at the same time I had a birds nest in my pole. I pulled in the line with my hands and picked up the fish. We ran home with it and had my dad take me to get it weighed. We then found out it weight 8lb 6oz.
I'm 14 and live in Dawson Springs Ky.
