About 10 years ago a friend and I were fishing for smallmouth on the Mohawk River. We had started out very early due to the fact that my friend wanted to practice for an upcoming tournament. We had fished all day with only a sunburn to show for our troubles. It was getting late and we were trolling under a bridge. He was in the front and I was in the back. When all of a sudden, we heard a big splash and a loud thud. we both turned around and to our amazement there was a good size sucker fish in the bottom of the boat. I looked into the water and there was a huge tiger muskie surfacing in the water. I could not believe my
eyes. The tiger muskie didn't jump or cause a commotion he just surfaced like a sea serpent. It was totally amazing.
On the ride home my friend [who I'll call John] said "don't tell anyone about the fish in the boat, no one would believe us." To this day I have probably told 50 people. My friend conveniently forgot about the whole AMAZING DAY OF FISHING!
