One night while I was fishing, I watched this guy get a good 4 and a half pound largemouth bass in and since we were having no luck I asked the guy what type of lure he was using. He showed me that Berkley powerbaits with salt were the best stuff. So I Texas Rigged up a Berkley powerbait. It was a black salamander with red speckles. After about twenty minutes I got one on. The way it fought seemed bigger than what my 8 lb test line can handle so I lowered the drag. About 15 minutes later I get him about 3 ft out when the hook came loose.
